During his time in IT Tralee David mentored 4th year FYP Creative Media student groups and MA in Creative Media students. David co-supervised a Masters by research student to completion in the area of Digital Social Work.
David Crowley has previously been a Researcher/PhD Candidate at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics (formerly DERI – Digital Enterprise Research Institute) & NUI Galway School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He holds a Certificate in Mechtronics from Institute of Technology, Tralee, a BA in Mathematics and Information Technology from NUI Galway, and an MSc in Interactive Media from University College Cork. His research interests focus on human in the loop sensing, citizen actuation, and using game elements/feedback to improve these processes.
