David Crowley currently works for Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board as Professional Development Coordinator. Previous to this role David was a Software Development/Maths/Multimedia Teacher and Assistant Principal II with Kerry College of Further Education (Kerry ETB).
David Crowley has previously worked as a lecturer in the Computing, Creative Media & Information Technology Dept in the Institute of Technology, Tralee. During his time in IT Tralee David mentored 4th year FYP Creative Media student groups and MA in Creative Media students. David co-supervised a Masters by research student to completion in the area of Digital Social Work.
David Crowley has previously been a Researcher/PhD Candidate at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics (formerly DERI – Digital Enterprise Research Institute) & NUI Galway School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He holds a Certificate in Mechtronics from Institute of Technology, Tralee, a BA in Mathematics and Information Technology from NUI Galway, and an MSc in Interactive Media from University College Cork and a HDip in Science in Computing (Data Analytics). His interests focus on Software Development, Games Development and Design, Android Development, Physical Computing, Data Science, Maths, Electronics, Professional Development and Teaching & Learning
